El Mexicano Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu has won the Best Director Oscar for “Birdman! This groundbreaking comedy-drama explores inner voices and the desperation of acting. Alejandro beat out Wes Anderson for “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” Richard Linklater for “Boyhood,” Bennett Miller for “Foxcatcher” and Morten Tydlum for “The Imitation Game.” This is a great win for Mexico and Latin America, breaking down the door on Hollywood for all the talent in Latin America.
