Auburn Beats Oregon in BCS Title Game. This Was The Highlight Of Last Night

The Auburn Tigers defeated the Oregon Ducks by a score of 22-19 to win the 2010 BCS National Championship game. So what was the highlight of the night? It wasn’t the 37-yard Michael Dyer run in the waning minutes of the game that put Auburn in scoring range (which, by the way, he was clearly down). Nor was it the many defensive stops by both teams (or should we say offensive ineptitude?). No, folks, the obvious highlight of last night’s broadcast wasn’t any of these. The best moment of last night’s BCS title game was ESPN commentator Brent Musburger saying, we kid you not, “This is for all the Tostitos!” mere seconds before Auburn kicker Wes Byrum made the game-winning field goal. So glorious was this piece of sports commentating that it was the subject of Twitter fodder last night.

Way to win at life, Brent Musburger!
