Cool Down With Tu Vez’s Margarita Recipe


The humble margarita is a thing of simple beauty. If done right, it can transport your soul to new heights and your body passed out blissfully on your buddy’s bathroom floor. No one knows the exact origin of the margarita. Lots of different bars and restaurants along the U.S/Mexico border claim to have invented it. Who was this Margarita? Did she like salt or no salt? We will never know. It is like one of those eternal mysteries like Stonehenge or how “According to Jim” stayed on the air for so long. Often, the margarita is ruined by being made in some horrible freez-o-matic 9000 adult slushy contraption. Frozen was fine when you were 20, but you are a man now, drink it on the rocks. Also, strawberry-mango-berrititas are cool if you are a chick, but we will take away your man card if you drink them. This simple recipe will make your next party a hit. You will never use a horrible mix again. That’s the Tu Vez guarantee.

Margaritas

1 1/2 Limes juiced

1 Shot of silver tequila, your choice

1 Shot of triple-sec, your choice

2 teaspoons of agave nectar

You juice 1 1/2 limes into a glass, 1 shot of triple-sec, 1 shot of tequila, and 2 teaspoons or so agave nectar. The last part is to taste. If you want salt on the rim, run a lime wedge on the rim and press it into some flaked sea salt . You can either make these individually or make a pitcher by using math to figure out how many drinks you need. If you can’t add, keep it to under 20 so you can use all fingers and toes or find a friend who can count.
