Fans Suing Arena Over Beer Prices

For those who have gone to a concert or sporting event know that beer can be very expensive and we end up paying top dollar for a cup of beer. Most places offer the consumer two choices, a small beer or pay more for a large where you supposedly get more of your favorite frosty beer to enjoy. How much beer are you actually getting if you do end up paying more of your hard earned cash if you go for the large beer?  Well a handful of Idaho hockey fans are suing a Boise arena for defrauding customers by charging $3 more for a tall, narrow cup advertised as a “Large” that actually holds the same amount of beer as the “Small” shorter wider cup. Three fans are seeking $10,000 in damages as they have attended at least 30 events over the past three years at the arena and have purchased the “Large” beer each time. According to the president of the Idaho arena, they had ordered 16 ounce and 20 ounce cups and never intended to mislead customers. That is just wrong.  If paying jacking up prices was not bad enough, now we have to worry if we are getting robbed by paying more for the same amount.  I hope these fans win this lawsuit and all venues take note that as fans we will not sit there and take it in the ass.
