Former NFL Star Aaron Hernanadez Sentenced To Life In Prison

Former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez was found guilty of the first degree murder of Odin Lloyd and was sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole. This is the latest chapter in the story of the downfall of one of the NFL’s most promising stars. The jury deliberated for 36 hours over his fate. He was accused of having shot Lloyd six times in an abandoned lot near Hernandez’s home in North Attleborough. They found keys to Hernandez’s rental car in Lloyd’s pocket and he was immediately arrested. There was ample evidence, security footage, witnesses, and other corroborating evidence that put Hernandez with Lloyd at the time of his death. What is unclear is the motive. One speculation was that Lloyd knew about a 2012 drive by shooting that Hernandez was involved in. This guy sounds like a thug. Probably a good thing that Massachusetts carries a mandatory life sentence without parole for first degree murder.

But there is more coming for Hernandez. Apparently, the trial for that drive by case is pending and could add more time to his sentence. He apparently gunned down two men after they spilled his drink at a club. That seems like a good reason to murder someone. It just goes to show you that you can have everything in the world and mess it up if you are a total psychopath.
