We’ve always been peripherally aware of Maite Perroni. How could we not? From 2004 until 2006, the 28-year-old Mexican actress/singer played the lead role in the then-ubiquitous telenovela Rebelde, and proceeded to tour with the spin-off band RBD. We didn’t watch the telenovela or listen to the sacharine-saturated pop music she made, but we always knew who she was because… well, mostly because she’s all kinds of hot.
