Hey Latinos, Cut It Out: Unnatural Hair Color On Middle-Aged Latinas

In our “Hey Latinos, Cut It Out!” feature we ask you, our Latino brothers and sisters, to cut out some behavior that is embarrassing the rest of us. We do this in order to foster peaceful coexistence with our non-Latino neighbors and so we aren’t ashamed to be seen with you in public.

We all have an aunt, mom, or grandma with a hair color not found in nature. The main cause is cheap hair dye or the ineptitude of their friend Martha who runs a salon out of her garage. The most popular color is a shade of purple-burgundy, not unlike a two day old bruise. Bright Big Bird yellow, blue buttercream frosting, and dark blue-black are also popular. Unless your great-aunt Cuca is into punk rock, her hair should not be purple. Tia…please, cut it out!
