Is Anyone Actually Interested In Seeing Saving Private Perez?

Have you heard of the Mexican film Saving Private Perez? The movie has been on our radar for a couple of months now and it’s playing states side now (Earnest, homepage editor of Break.com, told us that this is the first time he’s ever seen a Mexican movie being pushed so hard in Los Angeles, which, given the city’s MASSIVE Latino population, seems like a no brainer to us).

If you haven’t the premise is as follows: A Mexican crime lord (ie, narco boss) is forced by his nagging mother (oh, Mexican moms!) to save his younger brother from Iraq. The film stars telenovela actor Jaime Camil and comedian Adal Ramones, blah blah blah.

So, we ask you once again? Are you genuinely interested/morbidly curious enough to actually shell out your hard-earned cash to see a movie that’s almost guaranteed to be as offensive as it is slapsticky? We are going to be seeing it later today (yes! business expense!) and will give you our thoughts.
