Rescued Chilean Miner Will Party Hard Now That He’s Out

After spending a record 69 days trapped underground a mine in Copiapó, Chile, the rescue of the 33 trapped miners has begun. As it stands, 17 have already been pulled out while 16 still remain underground. One of the rescued men is Mario Sepulveda, a 40-year-old with quite a sense of humor. Immediately after being rescued, for example, Sepulveda handed Chilean President Sebastian Pinera a bagful of rocks as a present. And then there was this little gem, where he happily declares that instead of going to Disneyland, he’s going to have a drink. And then another and another:

Man, we want to party with that guy. Seriously, wouldn’t it be fun to hit the bars with a man who for more than two months looked at death in the eye and survived? That would be the best night ever.

You can watch the live feed of the ongoing rescue mission here. What else are you going to do, work?
