Mexico City Zoo Home To Cute Baby Camel

When I was a kid, the only camels I knew of were the ones my uncle smoked while he worked on his broken down El Camino. In fact, the only wild animals I ever saw were the neighborhood raccoons, which would eat the raisins I left out for them on the back porch. Don’t be like me. If you happen to be in Mexico City, do yourself a favor and check out their newest addition to the zoo family: a real life baby camel. Sadly, the little dromedary, or one-humped camel, was separated from its mother Sahara, after she began showing signs of aggression towards the fella. Thankfully the staff at the Chapultepec Zoo were there to feed and pamper the animal, who still has no name.

It’s always hump day for this guy.
