Mexico to Impose Tariff on US Pork

With Donald Trump imposing steep tariffs on products imported into the US, Mexico has responded with their own tariff.

Mexico is the second-largest market for U.S. pork exports and now they will impose a 10 percent tariff on U.S. pork shoulder and legs, with the tariff rising to 20 percent.

U.S. farmers could lose $100 million after Mexico slaps a massive tariff on pork imports. Mexico imported almost 650.000 metric tons of pork legs and shoulder last year, worth about $1 billion.

Looks like other countries are not going to sit back and do nothing, as everything points to a trade war.
