Protesters Block Buses Carrying Illegal Immigrants

Some U.S. citizens are fighting back with the current crisis of thousands of illegal immigrants crossing the U.S. borders. Buses carrying immigrant families faced a large crowed protesting their arrival.

Three buses carrying 140 undocumented immigrants who illegally crossed into the United States through Texas where stopped by protesters and not allowed to continue their trip. Some protesters, yelling, “They’re not born here!” and “Go back to Mexico!” stood in the street, blocking the buses as they were headed to the suburban border patrol station in Murrieta before being released to family and friends until they are called into immigration court. Now they will travel south to the border station in San Yisidro, which is close to San Diego, Ca.

Protesters say that releasing immigrants will lead to more crimes and homelessness. Immigrant rights activist say that lots of these children are fleeing dangerous lives in Central America, where they will die. More then 52,000 unaccompanied children have been detained after crossing the Texas-Mexico border since October. It is so sad to see how corruption, greed, poverty, oppression, and drug cartel violence in Latin America has forces parents to send their children to the U.S. and face the unknown alone.
