Soda Stereo Keyboardist Daniel Sais Passes Away


Another member of Soda Stereo has left us. Argentine keyboardist and producer, Daniel Sais has passed away at the young age of 55.

Sais toured through Latin America with Soda Stereo three times, starting in 1987. He recorded on the albums Ruido Blanco and Doble Vida. He also accompanied the band on the Ecuadorian leg of Soda Stereo’s comeback tour in 2007.

In 2016, after the 2014 death of Soda Stereo frontman Gustavo Cerati, Sais formed a touring tribute show, Soda Eterno, honoring the legendary Argentine rock band.
Said, who lived for many years in Ecuador, died on Monday, July 2 in Quito Ecuador. The cause of death was gallbladder cancer.
