This Week On Being Latino: First Dates And Jan Brewer

Being Latino, the largest Latino community on Facebook, is a communication platform designed to educate and connect all peoples across the global Latino spectrum. They also have a fascinating online magazine. Every week, we’ll be featuring several stories we feel you should read.

Today our selection of stories from our buddies at Being Latino are about getting inside the minds of women. The first story by Arlene Olivencia and Adriana Villavicencio, is about first dates. More specifically, what ladies should and shouldn’t do on first dates. This is particularly interesting to we men who are, let’s face it, clueless about how women think. Check it out here.

The second story gets in the mind of one woman in particular, the wicked witch of the west Jan Brewer of Arizona. Ryan Almodovar cites a report done by UCLA professor Raul Hinojosa-Ojeda countering her arguments about illegal immigration. ::Spoiler alert:: getting rid of all the illegals would economically destroy Arizona. Read it here.
