This Week On Being Latino: Latino Actors And Their Horrible Spanish Accents

Being Latino, the largest Latino community on Facebook, is a communication platform designed to educate and connect all peoples across the global Latino spectrum. They also have a fascinating online magazine. Every week, we’ll be highlighting a story we feel you should read.

You guys already know how we feel about white actors doing terrible Spanish accents. But what about Hispanic actors who are guilty of doing the same? Should we equally unleash our fiery ire on them? That’s the question that blogger Jennifer Hutcheson poses in her post. She asks: “But what about the Latino actors who have those same horribly fake Spanish accents? Do we give them a pass? And should Latinos be faking it to begin with?”

We say no, give them  the same level of hell we would give to the Pacinos/Tony Montanas of the world.
