US-Mexico Border Wall Prototypes Are Complete

Construction of the eight prototypes for a proposed border wall between the United States and Mexico in Otay Mesa, California is complete. The construction of the prototypes began in late September, with four of the structures make of concrete and the other four made of alternative materials. All eight prototypes will measure between 18 to 30 feet in height with the ultimate goal of stopping illegal border crossings from Mexico into the U.S. The prototypes located just a few feet away form the existing border wall.

This is a hot topic on both sides of the issue and many are asking when will this new border wall be completed. Things may seem like they are movie quickly but now the prototypes will be subject to punishment to test their durability. Workers will be wielding sledgehammers, torches, pickaxes and battery operated tools.

The testing will last up to two months and the results will dictate the future wall construction, which has not yet been funded by Congress. And as we all know that could take a long time as it passes through all the red tape. Lets not forget that there are tree lawsuits blocking the construction, one filed by California’s Democratic attorney general.

Ya veremos que paso.
