We’ve heard of guerilla filmmaking, but this certainly takes the cake. Using nothing more than the on-game footage of Grand Theft Auto IV, Mathieu Weschler created a bona fide feature-length movie. With a run time of just under one hour and thirty minutes, The Trashmaster tells the tale of a garbage man who moonlights as a bank robber. The film’s (yes, we think it deserves to be called a film) opening sequence is just about the most exciting/thrilling one since Christopher Nolan’s 2008 masterpiece, The Dark Knight. Well done, Weschler, you make Park Chan-Wook look like a talentless hack.

This is actually EPIC!!! Utter genius, very well put together, I loved every bit!
“The Trashmaster tells the tale of a garbage man who moonlights as a bank robber”
Hes more of a vigilante who starts to lose touch with the world than a bank robber actually.
Awesome
This looks great so far, but seriously? There wasn’t a better place to host it than a website that interjects a 30 second ad every 5 minutes? At that rate it’s practically unwatchable.
search for warez and torrents there are aplenty

Out of words!!!!!
Just amazing job, a master piece!!!!!
Watch “HEAT” with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino.
You’ll see where the opening scene is ripped from.
It certainly is an accomplishment to put something like this together, but I would suggest a shorter project next time. One that made more sense, and had much better, and more frequent, dialogue.
Thanks for having the guts to put it out in the world for us, and I hope you keep it up.
