Gareth Bale’s Soccer Skill Is Art, Literally

Animator Richard Swarbrick created this beautiful piece of work depicting Tottenham Hotspur’s Gareth Bale’s more-than-human Champions League performance against Inter Milan. The two minute clip highlights Bale’s insane hat trick in their 4-3 loss to Inter during the group stage and his two assists during Tottenham’s 3-1 win over the Italian club. The only thing prettier than Bale’s football work is this tribute.

We really dig Swarbrick’s work so we’re going to start rooting for Tottenham for the remainder of the Champions League (they moved on to the quarterfinals). Hopefully he’ll indulge us with another awesome animation.
