Highlights From The Triple Overtime Grizzlies-Thunder Game That Just Wouldn’t End

Last night, the Memphis Grizzlies hosted Game 4 of their Western Conference Semifinal series against the Oklahoma City Thunder. We watched the game because the Grizzlies, the eighth-seeded team in the West, defeated the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs and looked like they could potentially upset Kevin Durant and his 4th-seeded Thunder. Little did we know that we were in for one of the longest NBA playoff games ever.

Going in, we knew it was going to be a closely contested match. After all, the Grizzlies have been almost unbeatable at home despite being the clear underdog throughout the playoffs. Add to that a Thunder team that needed to win Game 4 to keep their hopes alive, and you had a recipe for an exciting and close game. That’s exactly what ended up happening. How close was it? Triple overtime close. Above are all the last second shots (and misses) from the exciting match, including a 26-foot desperation three pointer from Venezuelan Greivis Vasquez at the end of the first over time.
