About 20 artists or so got together earlier this week to protest LA’s Museum of Contemporary Art’s (MOCA) decision to whitewash a wall painted by Italian street-artist Blu. How did they protest? By using laser graffiti. The art collective projected a series of messages on the white wall, including phrases like “Give us back our walls!” and “Peace Now!” Even if you dont’ give to flying farts about art, you have to admit that this whole concept of laser graffiti is just all kinds of fascinating.
