Mexican Cops Ask Dude For A Bribe


Bill Dwyer was riding his motorcycle in Mexico as part of his road trip from Chicago to Argentina when all of a sudden he got pulled over by some cops. The police officers claimed that Dwyer was speeding (which he admitted he probably was) and that he was going to jail if he didn’t pay give them a $100 bribe. What the cops didn’t know, however, was that Dwyer was recording the entire encounter via a camera on his helmet. In the end, Dwyer paid the money and walked away. As per the cops, the video reached the authorities in Castaños, Coahila, Mexico (where the incident happened) and the three crooked police officers were fired.

    This happens all the time and I just tell them to take me to the main office and I’ll make sure they know others were passing me up, but I was stopped because of having a USA License Plate. As soon as they hear this they let me go and don’t ask for the Bribe.
