Michael Winslow’s Amazing Version Of “Whole Lot Of Love”

One of the most underrated movies of the 80’s is “Police Academy”. We don’t mean “Police Academy 45: Mahoney Has a Kidney Stone”, but the original film. It’s no “Citizen Kane”, but then again “Citizen Kane” doesn’t have Steve Guttenberg or a gay tango dancing club called “The Blue Oyster Bar”. One of our favorite performances in the film is by the great Michael Winslow, the human sound effects machine. This guy can make any noise with his mouth-hole. Before you make fun of him, think about how there is no way you could do what he does in this video.

Michael Winslow sings Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lot of Love”, playing the electric guitar, drums, bass, and Robert Plant’s vocals with his mouth. It is truly amazing, because it totally sounds like the mighty Zep.
