Raffi Torres Scores Game Winning Goal For Vancouver Canucks

In the first game of the NHL Stanley Cup finals between the Vancouver Canucks and the Boston Bruins, left winger Raffi Torres put the Canadian squad 1-0 in the series with a very late third period goal (as in twenty seconds remaining). Torres’s third goal of the playoffs was assisted by Jannik Hansen and Ryan Kesler.

It’s not every day we talk about hockey here ( editor’s note: This is the first time we talk about hockey outright, but the second time the sport has been mentioned.) but then again, how often does a Canadian-born player with Mexican and Peruvian parents score a goal in the Stanley Cup?
