Shaolin Monk Throws Sewing Needle Through A Friggin’ Piece Of Glass


The worst part about reality? The lack of people with super powers. No Jedis, X-Men, or Batmans (Batmen?). The closest thing we have are the monks of the Shaolin temple in China. As you may know from countless kung-fu movies and Wu-Tang Clan songs, the Buddhist monks of the Shaolin temple developed kung-fu centuries ago. These dudes can do things you normally only see in movies.

Case in point: this super slow motion video of a Shaolin monk throwing a sewing needle through a piece of glass without shattering it. Contemplate that for a second. If this dude could do that with glass, imagine if he threw that at your face. Lesson: Keep the monks away from your mom’s sewing kit.
