Before you accuse us of exaggerating, watch the video. In the 90th minute of the 2010 Asian Games quarterfinal match between Qatar and Uzbekistan, a defender passes the ball back to the Uzbek goalie only to have it go in between his legs. Qatar striker Fahad Khalfan, who chased the ball down, found himself with a wide open net. All Khalfan needed to do was lightly tap the ball in for the score and the victory. Instead, he let off a shot that ended with the ball hitting the cross bar. To makes matter worse, Uzbekistan went on to win 1-0.
