A Taco Truck On Every Corner? Sounds Awesome!

Last week one of the founders of Latinos for Trump, Marco Gutierrez, said the most nonsensical thing on All In with Chris Hayes on MSNBC. This is more nonsensical than the concept of Latinos for Trump in the first place. He said that we need to deport all of the 16 million Latinos that are here undocumented because if we don’t a bad thing will happen. He said,

“My culture is a very dominant culture. And it’s imposing, and it’s causing problems. If you don’t do something about it, you’re gonna have taco trucks every corner.”

I don’t know what world he’s living in, but that sounds like the greatest thing that could ever happen. It’s like you hear of the old campaign promises from the 19th century, “a chicken in every pot”, and so on. Only this is better because it’s tacos. I think, if he’s being serious, that he just won the election for Hilary Clinton. Think about it. What do Americans love to do more than anything else? Eat. What is the most popular ethnic food in the country? Mexican. So, if a vote for Hilary means that I can step out on my block and buy some delicious tacos whenever I want, then I will not only vote for her I’ll campaign for her too. I’ll stand on the street corner ringing a bell pronouncing the coming golden age of tacos. While I believe everyone should have access to quality health care, I also think everyone deserves good tacos. It’s our right as Americans.
