William Shatner “Sings” Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man”

William Shatner. What do those two magical words conjure up? Overacting? Star Trek? Bad toupees? Yes, yes, yes, and hell yes. This showbiz legend has been consistently famous for the last 50 years. He works more than most young hot stars and he’s friggin’ 80! Think about that. This weird, chubby, bad actor has had a career very few performers have. It seems almost Faustian, as if the Shat made a bargain with Satan in the early 60’s that he’d do “TJ Hooker” and travel website commercials for the rest of eternity, if only he could still be relevant in the 21st century.

The one thing Shatner can’t do is sing. He thinks he can, but he is wrong. DEAD WRONG. Much like his 60’s album, “The Transformed Man“, his new album, “Seeking Major Tom”, isn’t so much sung as it is emoted in his own weird Shatnerian way. Here he is doing the Black Sabbath classic, “Iron Man”.
